Overview

Woodie’s Wash Shack is a local, family-owned business providing the best car wash experience in the Tampa Bay/St. Pete area. With 10 locations currently, Woodie’s Wash Shack sought a website redesign to increase web traffic and create a positive user experience. In 2021, an E-Commerce Surf Shop was designed and built and an event calendar was added.

Challenges

Woodie’s Wash Shack had low website traffic due to, in part the outdated web design and inefficiency to access necessary information on the site. Users cited poor experiences due to the clunky design and difficulty with navigation. SEO was not properly utilized contributing to the low website traffic from search engines like Google.

Each of these facets led to the overall stagnation in growth and the need for a complete redesign of the website and to allow for ease in customer access to the Woodie’s Wash Shack site.

Results:

After the creation of the website and its launch, web traffic increased by 75%, SEO reported 30/30, and optimized speed increased to 100%. These results directly addressed the issues presented in the beginning by allowing for a smooth interface that users could easily find and access. Not only that, but this design won A Silver Addy for the 2022 Best Consumer Website.


The client’s desire to alleviate the stress their original web design placed on their business was met with results that strengthened their brand outreach as well as furthering the relationship between brand and consumer.
